1. Generic ‘expat visa’ বলে কিছু নেই
Japan-এ employment, study, family relationship বা business management-এর মতো specific activity-এর সঙ্গে যুক্ত একাধিক residence status আছে। সঠিক status নির্ভর করে Japan-এ আপনি আসলে কী করবেন তার ওপর।
tourist বা temporary visitor status সহজে general right to live and work-এ convert করা যায়—এমন ধরে নেবেন না। relocate করার আগে specific activity-এর জন্য Immigration Services Agency requirement দেখুন।
2. Neighborhood choice commute দিয়ে শুরু করা উচিত
Minato, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Meguro ও Setagaya foreign resident-দের আলোচনায় প্রায় আসে, কিন্তু Tokyo এত বড় যে এক list ‘best expat neighborhoods’ meaningful নয়।

7. Japanese tax residency ‘এক বছর মানেই worldwide tax’-এর চেয়ে বেশি nuanced
