Gangnam suits technology and southern business clusters, Yeouido is important for finance and media, and central Seoul works for government and many traditional corporate offices. A hotel in the wrong area can create long daily crossings. Map each confirmed address before selecting a room on price or brand alone.
2. Incheon and Gimpo serve different trip patterns
Incheon handles most long-haul international traffic, while Gimpo is closer to the city for many domestic and regional flights. AREX and airport buses provide structured links from Incheon. Choose the transfer based on hotel district; a direct airport bus to Gangnam can be simpler than rail plus a crowded subway change.
3. Save the Korean building name and station exit
Large Seoul complexes can connect through malls and underground passages. The correct exit number can reduce walking substantially. Keep the office address in Korean as well as English, especially when using a taxi. A precise building name is more useful than a broad neighborhood pin when several towers share a development.
4. Subway is efficient, but cross-city meeting sequences are costly
Rail covers Seoul extremely well, yet the city is large. Avoid accepting a Gangnam meeting immediately after one in Yeouido or Gwanghwamun without checking real door-to-door time. The transfer includes walking through stations, finding the correct exit and entering the next building, not just the minutes shown between platforms.

International business hotels in Gangnam, Yeouido and central districts generally provide strong work facilities. Check room desk space and breakfast hours when calls span Europe or North America. A property beside the day’s meeting cluster also makes it easier to return briefly between appointments rather than carrying documents and equipment all day.
6. Dinner may be part of the business schedule
Client relationships can extend into an evening meal, and private dining rooms are common for formal groups. Keep the evening relatively flexible until the host confirms the plan. Booking a distant personal restaurant immediately after the last meeting can create an awkward conflict if the client expects the discussion to continue over dinner.
7. Allow time for large office campuses
Arriving at the correct subway station is only part of the journey. Gangnam and Yeouido towers may have multiple lobbies, security points and connected buildings. Put the tower name, floor and host contact in the calendar. This reduces the risk of standing in the right complex while the actual meeting room is several minutes away.
8. Plan the airport departure around Seoul’s scale
Incheon is far enough from many business districts that the final appointment needs a proper buffer. Use AREX, airport bus or car according to the hotel location and luggage. Collect baggage before the last meeting when possible and avoid a final cross-city journey that leaves the international transfer dependent on perfect traffic.
