Confirm whether the flight leaves from Capital or Daxing, store luggage where it can be collected efficiently and leave a substantial road or rail buffer. The final appointment should make the airport journey simpler, not force one last cross-city transfer.

Metro and cars solve different kinds of meeting day
Beijing’s subway covers the main commercial areas efficiently and can avoid road congestion. A car is often more practical for client campuses, factories or multiple stops outside the core. This is useful for taxis and security desks alike. Reaching the correct gate without the specific tower or company name can still leave a surprisingly long search inside a large development.
Allow margin for formal meetings and keep dinners close to the final office
Some appointments may include extended introductions, tea or a meal rather than ending exactly when the agenda does. Avoid placing another meeting across the city immediately afterward. A modest buffer protects both relationships and punctuality. If the day includes senior hosts, ask the local organizer whether lunch or dinner is likely to be part of the program. The CBD, Sanlitun and other central districts offer many business dining options, but Beijing traffic makes a distant reservation a poor reward after a long day. Choose a venue near the final meeting or hotel unless the host has selected somewhere specific. This gives the group flexibility if the preceding discussion overruns and reduces late-evening road time.
