Bali for arrival rather than the whole route

Official Indonesian tourism information identifies Labuan Bajo as the main access point for Komodo National Park, with flights and a busy harbor. Boarding here lets guests devote more time to the park’s islands and less to the delivery route from Bali.

Wildlife visits require ranger procedures and current park access rules. The islands also offer excellent viewpoints, diving and anchorages. The yacht should coordinate permits and daily visitor quotas before arrival.

A seven-day charter is usually better centered on either Bali/Lombok or Komodo, not both in equal depth. Longer trips can link them. Travelers who mainly want Komodo should fly to Labuan Bajo and use the yacht locally.

The operator should arrange current permits and ranger visits before the yacht enters the park.
